On tour through the Rhine Valley - from Lake Constance to Chur
For several months now, the BWB Sprinter has been driving to our customers in mechanical engineering, industrial design and microtechnology on Tuesdays and Fridays. The members of the transport team take turns driving through the Rhine Valley.
And best of all: our collection and delivery service is uncomplicated. Do you have something to pick up? A quick email or phone call is all it takes - and the Sprinter is on its way. It can be that simple.
"Being a salesperson directly on site at the shipping company - that's something new. We experience the processes first-hand. This helps enormously in planning our offers and deliveries so that they fit perfectly into the processes of our partner companies," explains Nejat Saloski from the sales and transport team.
Conclusion from the transport team
Nejat is one of the employees who regularly go on tour: "What I enjoy most is that every trip feels like a little adventure. I simply enjoy the feeling of being on the road."
What makes him and us particularly happy: "I was surprised at how friendly many customers are - sometimes you even get a little thank you, a coffee or just a smile that brightens up the day."
In the meantime, the transport team has grown to six employees - a clear sign that our mobile service is well received. With the larger team, more colleagues will be able to visit our customers in future, promote direct communication and further improve service quality. This development pleases both BWB as a whole and our partners in the Rhine Valley.
We are delighted with the positive feedback we have received in the first few months - both internally and externally - and wish the entire transport team a safe journey at all times and many exciting encounters in the Rhine Valley.
