Industrial painter - precision, creativity and bright prospects

Jarno Künzler is at the end of his training as an industrial painter EFZ. Painting is an art for him: a perfect, even result simply gives him pleasure. In a few weeks, the twenty-year-old from eastern Switzerland will graduate - he will stay with the company for the time being and gain further practical experience.

Jarno’s tip:

Believe in yourself and listen to yourself. Painting requires a certain sense of balance: when is the surface perfect, when is it better to stop, and when is every further spray too much. An overpainted surface is difficult to correct – like an oversalted dish, it can be time-consuming or even impossible to undo the damage.

Teamwork and modern technology

Training young people is a crucial step in their professional and personal development. A supportive team and the guidance of a mentor play a key role in the successful completion of this important phase of life. At Altenrhein, apprentices are integrated into a functioning team right from the start.

"The team is essential throughout the training: everyone makes their contribution and shows their strengths, which makes it easier to learn," emphasizes Jarno. The apprenticeship will start again in the summer with a new team. Jarno, who will soon have completed his apprenticeship, adds: "Of course, it's particularly nice that as a newly qualified industrial painter EFZ, I can support a new person in all matters right from the start."
